Mike and Joe, old friends of Donald Trump, good friends at one time, got jealous and turned nasty. That is what their feud is all about – jealousy.
You see, and most people do not remember this, but when no one would take Trump seriously after he announced, Joe Scarborough did.
He would have Trump on – true Trump gets ratings and unlike every other politician on the planet he didn’t need a script for an interview with approved questions.
He was ratings gold and Trump captivated the nation. But underneath Joe would mock the other hosts who said Trump had no chance.
Telling his viewers that he knew a lot of Republicans who were going to vote for Trump but wouldn’t admit it because of the media hysteria.
He was right and he thought he was Trump’s unofficial advisor. When Trump went to the White House and was too busy running the country to return Joe’s calls he got jealous and unleashed the venom.
And he hasn’t stopped. Not a day goes by without Joe ripping into Trump, with Mika nodding along, and making some phony argument that makes them look smart.
But they have officially gone too far this time. They are so desperate to hurt Trump that they stooped to an all-time low.
They invoked a North Korean lieutenant colonel to bash Trump.
NBC News foreign correspondent Keir Simmons was on their show and landed a rare interview with a North Korean leader.
He said the North Korean leadership watches MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” for reports on Trump and North Korea.
Did it make them shocked to hear they are helping the enemy? No they were thrilled. And then they took the opportunity to relay to America (and North Korea) an insult to Trump. From the North Korean leader.
It may not be treason but it sure is annoying.
Simmons said the colonel told him the North Koreans think President Donald Trump is “mentally ill.”
From Fox News:
“He quite plainly said he believes President Trump is mentally ill,” Simmons said. “And he was unequivocal in saying that he believes North Korea could win a war with America. Be it no doubt that the senior officials here pay attention to what is being said in the U.S… One telling me that he watches ‘Morning Joe’ every day.”
