General John Kelly, who lost a son in the war, just gave an emotional speech. He ripped Fredrica Wilson and the media who helped her launch her attacks on Trump.
“I was stunned when I came to work yesterday morning and brokenhearted at what I saw a member of Congress doing,” Kelly said. “It stuns me that a Member of Congress would have listened in on that conversation. Absolutely stuns me. I though at least that was sacred.”
Nothing is sacred with the left. Not your pain or your sacrifice.
Kelly went on saying that he told Trump what to say because Trump asked him how to do make the call with respect.
“Trump called four people the other day and express his condolences in the best way he could and he said to me, ‘What do I say?’”
And then Kelly dropped recited the words that had comforted him when his son fell in battle from General Dunsford.
“He said, ‘Kel, he was doing exactly what he wanted to do when he was killed. He knew what he was getting into by joining that 1%. He knew what the possibilities were because we were at war. And when he died he was surrounded by the best men on this earth, his friends. That’s what the President tried to say to the four families the other day.”
Is nothing scared asked General John Kelly? An American hero who is also a Gold Star father who does not often reveal his emotions.
And to that we have Fredrica’s response. Did Fredrica Wilson, who is playing politics with dead soldiers, who just got told the facts of life by General Kelly, apologize?
Nope. Instead she will burn in hell for the rest of her days for what she said about General John Kelly who has done more and given more to this country than she ever could.
A reporter for Politico Marc Caputo was there to hear it.
“Literally got this quote after a hearing, chaired by Wilson, into nursing home deaths. I handed her my phone with the story and this was her comment before getting into a car”
“John Kelly’s trying to keep his job. He will say anything,” says @RepWilson in response to Trump’s staff chief who ripped her for disclosing details of controversial call with soldier’s widow. “There were other people who heard what I heard.”
